Wintergrass 2010 “Preview” Concerts Celebrate KCLS Partnership

The Bellevue branch of the King County Library System will host two Bluegrass concerts to help welcome Wintergrass to its new location.

On Tuesday evening, February 2 2010, at 7 p.m. in Room 1, join Down the Road for an evening of Bluegrass and American roots music. Also, educator Tom Petersen will present the history of Bluegrass, and Trisha Tubbs of the Washington Bluegrass Association will talk about the galaxy of opportunities available to learn, play and listen through Wintergrass’s Youth Academy, the Bluegrass In The Schools program and Teacher Workshop, and the Music for String Orchestra Workshop.
