Forssell Technologies has been designing and building high-end audio equipment for over 35 years, including microphone preamplifiers, equalizers, compressor/limiters, analog to digital (ADC) and digital to analog converters (DAC), monitor level controllers and switchers, and mixing consoles.

Their approach to designing and manufacturing high-quality music recording and sound reproduction equipment is centered on the philosophy that musical performances are meant to be captured in their most natural, accurate and honest form possible. Their products have gained worldwide recognition in ensuring that the reproduction signal path connects the listener to the music, and not to the equipment. The result of this approach is a musically true and sonically accurate recording.

Forssell Technologies product design changes keep pace with the latest electronic component technology. As a result, They are constantly improving and upgrading their products. They also believe that there is great value in helping other manufacturers and builders of equipment to produce better equipment. Forssell provides design services, product evaluation and testing, and design for white papers and schematics, and sell some of their building-block JFET circuits to help with this process.

I have been using the Forssell Technologies Fetcode two-channel microphone preamp as my primary vocal preamp since the first time I tried it on a session. It became apparent immediately how much more was coming from my microphone. This preamp adds a beautiful amount of warmth. I liken the sound to a cross between the Massenberg and John Hardy mike preamps. – Jim Nunnaly
