Wintergrass 2012 Performers Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen headline the 2011 Seattle Folk Festival Dec 10!!

December 9, 10, and 11

Columbia City Theater and Town Hall Seattle

The Seattle Folk Festival returns December 9, 10 and 11, 2011 at Columbia City Theater, Town Hall Seattle and other venues! Last year, the Seattle Folk Festival was held over one day, but now the festival has expanded to three days, multiple venues, and a host of roots and indie roots artists from across the Northwest and the United States.

Featuring artists for our Appalachian Winter theme: Riley Baugus & Kirk Sutphin from North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, handmade mountain art/music by Anna & Elizabeth from rural Virginia, barn-burning bluegrass from Washington DC’s Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, Northwest folk legends Laura Love & Orville Johnson, backwoods BC folk from Pharis & Jason Romero, plus a square dance, a family dance, a Balkan dance, and lots of jamming!

Inspired by the cold, misty winters of the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle Folk Festival provides a warm, comforting indoor space to enjoy some of today’s best folk and roots musicians.

Individual Tickets available for each show, dance or workshops!

Weekend Passes available for only $40!
